Accessibility Statement

Vortex Computation wants everyone, including people using assistive technology, to be able to find and download our ops packs. This statement sets out the standard we hold ourselves to, how we test against it, what we know is still imperfect, and how to reach a human if something blocks you.

1. Conformance target

We target Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. We chose 2.2 over the older 2.1 deliberately — it adds criteria that matter for the kind of pages we ship, including focus appearance, target size, and not making people re-enter information they already gave us.

2. Scope

This statement covers:

The five pack sites: GovCon Ops, Aerospace Supplier Ops, Legal Ops, Quality Ops and Manufacturing Ops

It does not cover third-party services we link to or that handle form submissions on our behalf. Those have their own accessibility statements and we do not control them. It also does not cover the contents of the downloadable .zip packs, which are plain Markdown text files read inside your own AI assistant.

3. Conformance status

Partially conformant. Every page in scope currently passes automated WCAG 2.2 AA testing with zero violations, verified on 31 July 2026. We say partially rather than fully conformant on purpose — see the next section for why that distinction is honest rather than cautious.

4. How we test, and the limits of it

Automated testing catches roughly a third of WCAG criteria. It cannot tell whether alternative text is meaningful, whether the keyboard can escape every control, whether reading order matches visual order, or whether an error message actually explains how to recover. Anyone claiming full compliance on automated results alone is overstating it. We would rather tell you the truth and fix what you find.

5. Known gaps

A full manual keyboard-only and screen-reader pass has not yet been completed across all six sites. Until it is, we cannot honestly claim full conformance.
The pack finder is an interactive multi-step form. Automated checks pass, but the announcement behaviour as steps change has not been verified with a real screen reader.
Downloadable packs are plain Markdown. We believe this is the most accessible format we could ship, but we have not tested them inside every assistive setup.

6. If something blocks you

Email hello@vortex.llc and tell us what you were trying to do and where it stopped you. You do not need to know which guideline applies or use any particular wording.

We aim to reply within 5 business days. If a barrier stops you getting a pack, say so and we will send it to you directly while we fix the page.

7. Formal approach

Accessibility is a release blocker for us, not a later cleanup: our sites do not go live until they pass an automated WCAG 2.2 AA audit. This statement is reviewed whenever those sites change materially, and at least once a year.
